Hong Kong raised cellist Clara Tsang Fung made her first international debut with American pianist Jean Schneider at the Carnegie Hall, New York on March 18, 2014. The cello recital titled "Miraculous Life" featured works by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Cesar Franck. The performance, which was supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in New York (HKETONY), attracted an audience of over 200.

Welcoming Ms. Tsang at the concert, Acting Director of HKETONY Paul Cheung said the office would continue to support performances in New York by Hong Kong musicians with a view to promoting closer cultural ties between Hong Kong and the United States.

Ms. Tsang is the President of the Hong Kong Cellist Society. She was granted a Fellowship by the Asian Cultural Council (New York) to participate in sharing and exchanging with leading musicians in the United States from March 11-22, 2014. Apart from the performance at Carnegie Hall, she also performed at the Rabi-Warner Concert Series at Columbia University on March 17, 2014.
